I never get tired of seeing perforated brake levers feels very medieval.
This blog is to bikes, what The Sartorialist is to fashion, only a little bit more tongue in cheek. The blog is a homage to Scott Schuman's one The Sartorialist, if you haven't checked it out do so: www.thesartorialist.com The plan. Hit the streets. Scope out bicycles that show a personal flair. The method is a Nikon D90 and 50mm 1:1.4G lens. The execution. Lots of background blur. Feel free to comment and identify any of the unknown bikes.

unknown fixed speed, Lt Lonsdale St, Melbourne
It would have been good if they kept the theme of black with white highlights and vice versa going with the cranks, pedals and grips for a truly yin and yang riding experience.

Just Ride It custom fixed speed, Swanston St, Melbourne

I really wonder sometimes why some people just don't buy a bigger frame.... either that or it was a hand me down from a much shorter biker or the current owner is borderline sadomasochistic.
Frame sizing rant over. Love the improvised handlebar tape I gather as a ode to the Melbourne University Cycling Club [link], not so much the gold headset spacers. Also what is with the $5 plastic pedals? Component rant over.
