I really wonder sometimes why some people just don't buy a bigger frame.... either that or it was a hand me down from a much shorter biker or the current owner is borderline sadomasochistic.

Frame sizing rant over. Love the improvised handlebar tape I gather as a ode to the Melbourne University Cycling Club [link], not so much the gold headset spacers. Also what is with the $5 plastic pedals? Component rant over.

  1. This is really weird! Being shown my own bike on a blog!
Thanks I guess for the post and the pics but bit of a scathing review.

I bought the seat post for $5 hoping I could make it work but it was just way to big as the aero part wouldn't fit into the tube, hence the frame isn't actually that small for me.

The 'bar tape' is actually from San Francisco https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/139160027/griprings-choose-your-length-choose-your-colors
and is the world champion colours, bought to match my previous Bianchi Pista frame. The colours can be seen on any bike frame whose bikes have won a world championship, the rainbow jersey and are probably one of the most recurring themes throughout cycling.

As for the spacers, three words: Black and Gold.
The pedals were temporary while I got some that would fit my straps.
