Sometimes all it takes is a new chain. Love the crank design. Thanks go to Will for pointing out the model and make.
This blog is to bikes, what The Sartorialist is to fashion, only a little bit more tongue in cheek. The blog is a homage to Scott Schuman's one The Sartorialist, if you haven't checked it out do so: www.thesartorialist.com The plan. Hit the streets. Scope out bicycles that show a personal flair. The method is a Nikon D90 and 50mm 1:1.4G lens. The execution. Lots of background blur. Feel free to comment and identify any of the unknown bikes.

Shogun Sport single speed conversion, Collins St, Melbourne
Looks like the front forks have taken a few decent impacts and throw in the down tube whilst you're at it. Having said that the red and blue works well....

Chr. Jeucken Piste single speed, Swanston St, Melbourne
Black and yellow another interesting colour combination that works with the rear rims a bit of a misnomer.

Velorbis Scrap Deluxe, Swanston St, Melbourne
Tyres so chumpy you can carve them and a F off big bell what's not to like and what screams vintage more than a Monkeylectric wheel light? This is the first time I've seen a brooks saddle bag been rocked as well.

Decarlo single speed, RMIT, Melbourne
Black to white or white to black depending on which side or life your on. Probably could have done with a black saddle, black & white axel nuts, white cable housing, white front breaks et al but probably I'm just taking to the extreme?
