Custom spraycan paint job. I like the geometric lugging on the headtube and can't go past the cantilever brakes.
This blog is to bikes, what The Sartorialist is to fashion, only a little bit more tongue in cheek. The blog is a homage to Scott Schuman's one The Sartorialist, if you haven't checked it out do so: www.thesartorialist.com The plan. Hit the streets. Scope out bicycles that show a personal flair. The method is a Nikon D90 and 50mm 1:1.4G lens. The execution. Lots of background blur. Feel free to comment and identify any of the unknown bikes.

Unknown single speed, Collins St, Melbourne
Lugging so chumpy, you can carve it. I've seen the corks used as handlebar plugs before but like how it completed with the wire. I'm at a loss for the chain around the saddle maybe to stop someone from jacking the saddle?

Malvern Star single speed, Swanston St, Melbourne
Once again the blue yellow combination and a retro pump where it belongs. Not sure how good that rear mud guard works but it sure looks cute.
